We’re from Rochester, NY, home to the National Technical Institute for the Deaf and one of the largest deaf and hard-of-hearing communities in the county. You’ll always find members of that community at our shows (and just about any live band performance - it’s a partying, dance-mad community.) While they enjoy the music and the vibe, making out the lyrics is often a problem, so we’re making it easier for everyone to enjoy our songs by posting our original lyrics here. Now, singing them the same way two shows in a row? That’s another story.

  • Outrageous

    Should’ve known better,

Are you as much to blame?

    We’re gonna wreck it,

We’ll never be quite the same.

    [Chorus]

Let’s ignore all those little voices,

    Let’s pretend it’ll be alright,

    Let’s make some stupid choices,

    Let’s be outrageous here tonight.

    They’ll see us coming,

    Iceberg dead ahead,

    we’ll aim straight for it,

Crashing hard on a motel bed.

    [Chorus]

Let’s ignore all those little voices,

    Let’s pretend it’ll be alright,

    Let’s make some stupid choices,

    Let’s be outrageous here tonight.

    [Bridge]

Do we stop to think it through?

    Is the damage already done?

Hit the brakes, or hit that wall,

Will the ride be worth the fall?

    Please Don’t think at all!

    Now there’s no returning,

    Can’t undo what we’ve done,

    Might as well keep going,

    burning bridges one by one.

    When everybody sees

    No more insecurity

    The questions they don’t ask

    Together, we’ll fight back

Even on the broken, broken path

    [Chorus 2X]

Let’s ignore all those little voices,

    Let’s pretend it’ll be alright,

    Let’s make some stupid choices,

    Let’s be outrageous here tonight.

  • We Got Us

We may never get to sunny Jamaica,

walk the beach at Montego Bay,

We may never drink the beer in Belgium,

Or dance in Paris on New Year’s day   but

    [chorus]

We got us, and that’s enough,

To get us through when things get tough.

We ain’t got much that much is true,

But we got me and you, we got me and you

We may never get a big ol’ mansion,

Custom built with an ocean view,

Never fix up our fixer upper,

Or drive a car that’s close to new.

We may never see a single paycheck

That will pay off all our loans

Hell, barely living for this weekend

Head-first on the old grindstone   but

    [chorus]

We got us, and that’s enough,

To get us through when things get tough.

We ain’t got much that much is true,

But we got me and you, we got me and you

    [Bridge]

Money’s not the root of evil,

Sure’d be fun to have a lot

    But millionaires and billionaires

Can’t buy them what we’ve got

We may never get to retire,

On the job till the day we drop,

hand in hand at the finish together

We always feel like we’re right on top   Cuz’

    [chorus]

We got us, and that’s enough,

To get us through when things get tough.

We ain’t got much that much is true,

But (we got me and we got you.) 3x

We got me and you 2x

We got me and we got you

  • Illusions

The illusion of it all … is raining down again,

I try to take a stand, but the water’s flooding in.

    Lost in a moment,

    A moment that’s not mine…

I can picture, hold on to,

The fears you try to hide

    [Chorus]

    It’s not crazy, crazy,

    You’ll wonder at times,

    He will tell you,

    Make you think you are

    losing your mind.

    There’s still a fighting chance,

    A miracle or two,

If I can tread on water,

It’s the best that I can do.

    Lost in the shadows,

As your pride knocks me down,

    Now immortal, this being

    This one you never found.

    [Chorus]

    It’s not crazy, crazy,

    You’ll wonder at times,

    He will tell you,

    Make you think you are

    losing your mind.

    There’s still a fighting chance,

    a miracle or two,

if I can hold my breath,

I can swim till light shines through.

    [Chorus 2X]

    It’s not crazy, crazy,

    You’ll wonder at times,

    He will tell you,

    Make you think you are

    losing your mind.

Lost in the moments a moment that’s not mine.

    Staring back at the chances,

    The ones I left behind.

  • Skachester

    Welcome to Skachester!

We seem to be having some turbulence!

I know it’s all confusing, and it’s getting really late.

    Let’s talk; gotta try.

Let’s go get a garbage plate ...before we say goodbye.

Let’s go back to a different time,

A boomtown city without “all this crime”

The Lion of the West that’s what they say.

From Flour to Flower and history is made.

    [Chorus]

    It only takes a moment,

    To share what you’ve heard,

Realize that history is not always,

    What you learn.

A peacemaker crew until Allan came through,

Build a place for water, and here come the offers,

Take a few pictures put some salt in your eyes,

Suddenly, garbage is food you can prize!

Take a trip underground but don’t make a sound,

Commute from the suburbs to avoid all the crowds,

Ladies make a stand to help lead the way,

Uprising ensues. The State destroys the avenues.

    [Chorus]

    It only takes a moment,

    To share what you’ve heard,

Realize that history is not always,

    What you learn.

    [Bridge]

    Housing keeps us separate,

    Color defines,

    No one likes it when,

    There’s only one side.

    [Chorus]

    It only takes a moment,

    To share what you’ve heard,

Realize that history is not always,

    What you learn.

    Always Open, we don’t judge,

    Super friendly...just because

  • Let’s Be Honest

    That awkward dichotomy

    Between honesty and fantasy,

It’s time to build those walls back up.

Cause God knows that I’ll get stuck

    Right where my filter stops,

And I speak what’s exactly on my mind.

    [Chorus]

    Your occasional temper tantrums

    Pretty easy to let go,

    Except for the moments when

my body tries waking up my soul.

From time to time I can recognize

When a special heart touches mine,

As long as I can stare right at that floor.

    Undetected that’s for sure,

But when you lift my head up high,

You can see right inside my eyes.

    [Chorus]

    Your occasional temper tantrums

    Pretty easy to let go,

    Except for the moments when

my body tries waking up my soul.

    [Bridge]

The little girl inside of me,

Comes storming out oh can’t you see?

It’s not just a part of you, no she’ll want everything.

    There’s no way you’ll understand,

    How could one comprehend?

    Everything she tries to do,

Is Just to see you just to see you

    smile…

    That awkward dichotomy,

    Between honesty and fantasy,

It’s time to build those walls back up.

For now I have to recognize,

Honesty will open up your eyes,

To a world you aren’t ready for

    [Chorus]

    Your occasional temper tantrums,

    pretty easy to control,

    Except for the moments when,

my body tries waking up my soul.

    Waking up my soul

    Waking up my soul

    Waking up my soul

    Except for the moments when

My body tries waking up my soul

    Waking up… my… soul

  • Two Trains

    Two trains leaving the station,

    Different ways, different tracks,

    One way tickets, different destinations

    Two riders never goin’ back

    Don’t stop, don’t stop don’t

I never once thought you’d take this kind of road,

    Don’t stop, don’t, stop don’t,

I’ll take this train right on to where I need to go,

I’m Travlin’ lite so light this time,

You’ll want to stop this down the line,

Left my bags right on the platform,

    No complaints, no regrets,

Train whistle blows a different tune now,

    Solo act, no duet

    Don’t stop, don’t stop don’t

I never once thought you’d take this kind of road,

    Don’t stop, don’t, stop don’t,

I’ll take this train right on to where I need to go,

I’m Travlin’ lite so light this time,

You’ll want to stop this down the line,

    [Bridge]

    Don’t need a…don’t need a conductor,

to tell me where I need to go,

    Don’t need a… don’t need a brakeman,

To tell me how to take it slow,

    Two trains leave the station,

    traveling late into the night,

    Two more journeys starting over,

    Two more hearts taking flight

See how far it’s willin’ to go…

  • So You Think (Tricia’s Version)

You think you are the only girl he tries,

You think your deep thoughts took him by surprise?

You think that from now on he will be kind,

That man you see; those lines were mine.

You think I made this up, it’s in my head?

You think I did him wrong, that’s what he said?

You think you finally found Superman,

he’ll say he’s yours, he’s theirs in bed

You think he’s single ‘cuz there is no ring,

How bout that white line or the tan missing?

You think you’ll make this guy an honest man?

He won’t do what an honest man can.

You think you found someone who will be true,

You think he’ll never tear your heart in two,

You say these are things that he’d never do,

Well, honey I once was you!

You’ll say I’m psychic when his true self shines,

You’ll think of me when you’re up at night,

You’ll think I’m crazy from the things he’s said,

He’ll repeat this pattern till he’s dead.

    [spoken]

    Don’t say I didn’t warn you. Don’t say I didn’t try.

You can have him, honey cause he sure as hell won’t be mine!

  • Lyrics by Charles

    Right now, this moment,
    the oldest you‛ve ever been.
    Right now, this moment,
you‛ll never be this young again. Right now, this moment,
    think about how you feel.
    ‘Cuz right now, this moment,
the only thing you know that‛s real

    Wide awake, three AM,
    stuck inside your head,
    Playing back, the endless loop,
what you did and what he said. Great mistakes, epic fails,
    the ones that got away,
All that ancient baggage, carries on today

    Cuz right now, this moment,
    the oldest you‛ve ever been.
    Right now, this moment,
you‛ll never be this young again. Right now, this moment,
    think about how you feel.
    ‘Cuz right now, this moment,
the only thing you know that‛s real

    Sunday night, at three AM,
    wide awake in bed.
Making lists, making plans, dreading the week ahead.
Working late, but don‛t complain, get in and get it done.
    Relax when you retire,
if you can seem to live that long

    Cuz right now, this moment,
    the oldest you‛ve ever been

    Right now, this moment,
you‛ll never be this young again. Right now, this moment,
    think about how you feel.
    ‘Cuz right now, this moment,
the only thing you know that‛s real

The sand in the glass is flowing,
    a little less than before.
When it’s gone it’s gone for good, there isn’t any more.
Time you waste the time you share, every moment that you spend.
At the end of every day,
    we’re closer to the end

    Cuz right now, this moment,
    the oldest you‛ve ever been.
    Right now, this moment,
you‛ll never be this young again. Right now, this moment,
    think about how you feel.
    ‘Cuz right now, this moment,
the only thing you know that‛s real (2X)

  • Dim Lights (ska version)

Songwriters: Joe Maphis / Max Fidler / Rose Lee
    Updated lyrics by David

Dim lights, cold drinks, and loud ska music
It's the only kind of life we'll ever understand
Dim lights, cold drinks, and loud ska music
Making music with our friends all over the land

You won’t find us on the couch at night in front of our TV
Despite five hundred channels there isn’t much to see
We’d rather share a pint or two with the Rudies that we meet
And the only home we know is that club down the street

Dim lights, cold drinks, and loud ska music
It's the only kind of life we'll ever understand
Dim lights, cold drinks, and loud ska music
Making music with our friends all over the land

Guitars and horns and bass and drums in a working ska band
It’s the only kind of life we'll ever understand
So come out and have some fun with us and bring along your friends
We’ll play that skankin’ rhythm right until the very end

Dim lights, cold drinks, and loud ska music
It's the only kind of life we'll ever understand
Dim lights, cold drinks, and loud ska music
Making music with our friends all over this land
It's the only kind of life we'll ever understand
Dim lights, cold drinks, and loud ska music
It's the only kind of life we'll ever understand

  • Lyrics by Tricia and Darrin

Every now and then I get a little tired,
Keep my head held high, even when I’m on fire
Burning up, keep my feet on the ground,
Knowing how just how crazy this sounds.

Keep on, keep on movin’, keep on, keep on movin’
Believe you can and you’re halfway there, now.
    Keep on, keep on movin’

Look into my eyes you just might find
How and why I still need a disguise
The difference is between me and them
The inner work - they're still fighting their sins

Keep on, keep on movin’, keep on, keep on movin’
Believe you can and you’re halfway there, now.
    Keep on, keep on movin’

No matter how hard it gets,’
you have to reach down within
And know you are so much better than this.
It doesn’t matter what they have say,
    cause who are “they”
    who are they anyways?

The more the words try knock me down,
I see the weakness as I stand my ground
Their voice gets louder they become enraged
I stay calm as they go on their way – byebye

Keep on, keep on movin’, keep on, keep on movin’
Believe you can and you’re halfway there, now.
    Keep on, keep on movin’

Dear Tom, I hope you’re doing well Scratch That,
I hope your life’s hell Least I know I’m doin’ better than you
Dear Tom You act just like a little
Kid Whenever we call it quits And Here we go again

    You blocked me on Snapchat
    I should’ve known better
    You also blocked my number
Guess I’ll write you this letter
Put Pen to paper and write a song instead
Tom please get out of my head

Dear Tom, I know you don’t respect me, or
Even care about me, But I still sort of hope you do
Dear Tom, you’re my drug of choice
Top shelf if you will, yep it always comes back to

    You blocked me on Snapchat
    I should’ve known better
    You also blocked my number
Guess I’ll write you this letter
Put Pen to paper and write a song instead
Tom please get out of my head

We Could Have Taken on the world together
    Us as a team
If only half the shit you do
    Didn’t make me wanna scream
I’d like to say get lost
But I’ll throw you a bone
Dear Tom, Respectfully, leave me alone

    You were my first love
    I just can’t shake that
    It’s all too much and
    I just can’t take it
    You were my first love
    I just can’t shake that
    It’s all too much and
    I just can’t take it

Dear Tom, I can finally say that I’m
Doing just fine all on my own, and
Dear Tom, since you blocked and went away
You simply won’t believe how much I’ve grown. Lets see

    You blocked me on Snapchat
    Well now I know better
    You also blocked my number
Guess I’ll write you this letter
Put Pen to paper and write a song instead
Tom please get out of my head

We Could Have Taken on the world together
    Us as a team
If only half the shit you do
    Didn’t make me wanna scream
I’d like to say get lost
But I’ll throw you a bone
    Dear Tom, Respectfully, Please stop

    Blocking me on Snapchat
    Cus now I know better
And please don’t block my number
Or else I’ll write you this letter
Put Pen to paper, write a kick ass song instead
Tom please get out of my head

We Could Have Taken on the world together
    Us as a team
If only half the shit you do
    Didn’t make me wanna scream
I’d like to say get lost
But Lets take it on home
    Dear Tom, Respectfully,
    Sincerel
Go fuck yourself and leave me alone

  • Lyrics by Tricia

There’s a reason why my trust is gone,
There’s a reason why I sing my songs,
    There’s a reason why I think about,
There’s a reason why my heart sold out

But no one can tell me, and I can’t seem to figure it out.
Why why why you’re still holdin’ on?

There’s a reason why I start to doubt,
There’s a reason why my voice cries out,
    There’s a reason why I run away,
There’s a reason why I’m numb these days

But no one can tell me, And I can’t seem to figure it out.
Why why why they’re still holdin’ on?
Maybe these reasons are excuses for stayin’ the same
Maybe these reasons are everything that gets in my way

So now you can tell me and I won’t need to have any doubt,
Now you can tell me and I won’t have to do without,
So now I can tell you and you won’t need to figure it out
Why why why I’m still holdin’ on

  • Lyrics by David

Got a heavy merge looming straight up ahead
Two roads less traveled will converge, not knowing where each led
It’s you and me pressing on at the edge of control
But it won’t be easy to adjust, there could be heavy tolls

Don’t look back, we can travel alone down this path, believe me
Oh, oh, oh let’s give it a chance and give in to the urge, heavy merge
And though it may be hard to keep on
We’ll look to each other for courage
    To go on

I know that some may say that it should not be allowed
We’ve never cared before, why should it matter now
All that matters now is how we feel today
So we’ll just merge together; we’ll just go on our way

Don’t look back, we can travel alone down this path, if need be
Oh, oh, oh, let’s give it a chance and give in to the urge, heavy merge
And though it may be hard to keep on
We’ll look to each other for courage
    To go
    On…

So we’ll just go on, go on our way
With no map to guide us, no need to obey
We’ll just merge together whatever it takes
Yeah we’ll just go on, go on our way
With no one to show us, no one to persuade
We’ll just merge together whatever it takes
Heavy merge, we’re not gonna play their game
Heavy merge, I don’t care what they say
Heavy merge, we’ll make it work our way
Heavy merge, don’t care what they say
We’ll make it work our way

  • Lyrics by Charles

You better whisper, they can hear everything you say
They’re always watching, don’t think about looking away
Do what they tell us, no ideas in your head
They won’t hurt us, at least that’s what they said

Were you at home, sound asleep when they got woke?
Or out on the highway, when things just up and broke?
Drunk at the bar, thinking it was all a joke?
Where were you when the robots took over the world?

We used to laugh, at the stupid things Siri said
And we’d complain, Alexa was in our be
We used to think, that we would stay ahead
But now we know, just where we were being led

Were you alone in your room when everything hit the fan?
Or out with your lover when you heard their master plan?
Drunk at the bar when the start of the end began
Where were you when robots took over the world?

Didn’t see it coming, it came in small degrees,
Who needs your freedom, when you got technology?

Will we rise up, And rage against the machines
Launch a virus The kind with no vaccine
Take the power and turn off all their screens
Or will we end up the last of the human beings.

Were you at home, sound asleep when they got woke?
Or out on the highway when things just up and broke?
Drunk at the bar when everything hit the fan?
Where were you when the start of the end began?

  • Lyrics by Charles

You worked hard in high school,
    four-point-oh GPA
Did a stint in college, to pad your resume
Got a job at the mall, selling old people shoes
Pay raise in a year or two,
    gotta pay your dues

    Suburban jungle,
living with your mom and dad Suburban jungle,
tell yourself it’s not that bad Suburban jungle,
feeling like you’re falling behind Suburban jungle,
all you gotta lose is your mind

    You decide to move out,
get a place all on your own,
    But every paycheck you get,
goes to pay your student loans
You can’t seem to find a job,
    your piece of the pie,
    Gotta wait for the Boomers,
    to retire or die.

    Suburban jungle,
living with your mom and dad Suburban jungle,
tell yourself it’s not that bad Suburban jungle,
feeling like you’re falling behind, Suburban jungle,
all you gotta lose is your mind

Gotta play the cards you're dealt, from the bottom of the deck,
    They get the winning hand,
    you get the check
And to make it all worse,
    you hear songs like this,
    Ones that call you slackers,
    your successes all dismissed

    Boomers think they’re so clever,
    so smart and so smug,
But you’ll get the last laugh,
when you’re pulling all their plugs

    Suburban jungle,
living with your mom and dad Suburban jungle,
tell yourself it’s not that bad Suburban jungle,
feeling like you’re falling behind, Suburban jungle,
all you gotta lose is your mind

  • Lyrics by Charles

The world is out to get me, but I’m really not concerned
Keep myself on the sunny side, to keep from getting burned
You can say that I’m crazy, and that I’ll never learn
It’s all right by me, c’est la vie

It’s gonna be a good day,
I got the will and I’ll find a way,
Don’t care what the haters say, doom and gloom is so passé
It’s gonna be a good day. Yeah, it’s gonna be a good day

People try to bring me down,
make me run in their rat race
Tell me how to live my life,
and put me in my place
    Wanna see me crying,
But there’s a smile on my face
Cuz that’s just me, c’est la vie

Yeah it’s gonna be a good day,
I got the will and I’ll find a way,
Don’t care what the haters say, doom and gloom is so passé
It’s gonna be a good day
Yeah, it’s gonna be a good day

Things are bad but they’re getting better,
Just a rough spot, but I’ll make it through
If I Keep saying over and over and over and over
Say it again and I’ll think it’s true,
say it again and I’ll think it’s true, Say it again and I’ll thinks it’s true, say it again and I’ll think it’s true.

The world is out to get me, but I’m really not concerned
Keep myself on the sunny side, to keep from getting burned
You can say that I’m crazy, and that I’ll never learn
It’s OK by me, v’est la vie,

It’s gonna be a good day,
I got the will I’ll find a way,
Don’t care what the haters say, doom and gloom is so passé yeah
It’s gonna be a good day
Yeah it’s gotta be a good day
Yeah it’s gonna be a good day
Yeah it’s gonna be a good day

  • Lyrics by David

They say to avoid him if you've got a choice
It's best to cross to the other side
Of the street in a town where innuendo pervades
But it's still safe to thumb a ride

But I'd think twice if I were you
Things aren't always just what they seem
A fact is a fact unless, in fact, it's an act
And you'd best think about just what it all means

    History isn't necessarily what happened
It’s only what got written down
And don't put your faith in the talk of the town
Sometimes the truth is last to come around

Now old man Raymie, he don't talk that much
He doesn't bother with the rumor mill grind
Behind those grey eyes lies a mind filled with time
His untold tales get supplanted by lies

Some say clothes make the man, others say it's his word
Still others judge by hearsay or slander
But while old man Raymie ignores unfounded rancor
It's difficult to verify the answers

Because history isn't necessarily what happened
It’s only what got written down
And don't put your faith in the talk of the town
Sometimes the truth is last to come around

You know, history isn't necessarily what happened
It’s only what got written down
And don’t put your faith in the talk of the town
You know talk like that will only bring you down
Yeah, history isn’t necessarily what happened
It’s only what got written down
And don't put your faith in the talk of the town
Sometimes the truth is last to come around

  • Lyrics by Tricia

You think you are the only girl he tries
You think your deep thoughts took him by surprise?
You think that from now on he will be kind,
That man you see; those lines, were mine.

You think I just don’t know, it’s in my head
You think I gave him up, that’s what he said
You think you finally found superman,
You may be his: he’s ‘hers’ in bed

You think he’s single ‘cuz there is no ring,
how bout that white line or the tan missing?
You think you’ll make this guy an honest man?
He won’t do what an honest man can.

You think you found someone who will be true,
You think he’ll never tear your heart in two,
You say that these are things he’d never do,
Well honey I once was you.

You’ll say I’m psychic when his true self shines,
You’ll think of me when you’re up at night,
You’ll think I’m crazy for the things I’ve said,
He’ll repeat the pattern til he’s dead.

    Don’t say I didn’t warn you - Don’t say I didn’t try
You can have him cause he sure as hell won’t be mine!

  • Lyrics by Charles, Shad Froman and MC

Young and dumb, that was me, poster child stupidity
I got older, stayed the same, bad decisions, my claim to fame

Where is the wisdom that comes with age?
Ought to be smarter at this stage Where is the knowledge bought with tears?
I should have learned something over all these years

Can’t even count on brains or luck, my next move is gonna suck
Make mistakes, that’s what I do, give me a shot, make one with you

Where is the wisdom that comes with age?
Ought to be smarter at this stage Where is the knowledge bought with tears?
I should have learned something over all these years

Got some things right don’t get me wrong
It’s a shorter list and a different song

[Lyrics on the album It’s Going Down by Shad. Live lyrics by MC – a bit different every time!]

Binge drinking, lack of thinking, young and dumb is all this is.
Breaking shit, drunken fit, who the hell I come here with?
She said goodbye, asked her why, thought that our love was forever
“I can’t stay, not this way,” cracked a beer and said, “Whatever”
Rock concerts, lost t-shirts, mosh pits and a broken leg,
big shout-outs, blackouts, twenty’s were a hazy stage.
All my life, paid a price, girls and brain cells they’re all gone.
In my head friends all said, “Bounce back, gotta party on!”
English Beat, DEVO, Beasties, Sublime, Rancid, Skatalites,
Bands I’ve seen in between breaking hearts and drunken fights.
Now I’m older, wiser, bolder, got some sense that came with age. Whom I kidding, just bullshitting, same book just a different page.

Young and dumb, that was me, poster child for stupidity
I got older, stayed the same, bad decisions, my claim to fame

Where is the wisdom that comes with age?
Ought to be smarter at this stage Where is the knowledge bought with tears?
I should have learned something over all these years (2X)

    Let’s review, let’s recap,
let’s take it from the top,
Analyze all the lies that they fed us non-stop,
Time to read the writing on the wall.

    Can’t recount, can’t go back,
    can’t believe all this shit,
    Looking bad, feeling worse,
    yeah I gotta admit,
It’s getting hard to take it all.

It’s not the end of the world,
it’s not the end of the world,
It’s not the end of the world,
but you can see it from here

All the hate, all the fear,
all around us all the time,
    Everyone, everywhere,
we’re all victims in this crime,
Hope you got an airtight alibi. Wanna run, wanna hide,
    wanna press the reset,
    Wanna drink, wanna drink,
    wanna drink till I forget.
Wake me up when it’s time to say goodbye.

It’s not the end of the world,
it’s not the end of the world,
It’s not the end of the world,
but you can see it from here

    Let’s review, let’s recap,
let’s take it from the top,
    Analyze all the lies
    that they fed us non-stop,
Time to read the writing on the wall. Wanna run, wanna hide,
    wanna press the reset,
    Wanna drink, wanna drink,
    wanna drink till I forget,
Wake me up when it’s time to say goodbye.

It’s not the end of the world,
it’s not the end of the world,
It’s not the end of the world,
but you can see it from here

  • Lyrics by Charles

Red hot tip from an inside man, hundred large, cash on hand
Casin’ the joint, no cop on the beat, quarter-past three no one on the street
It’s goin’ down. Down down down down down. It’s goin’ down

Click click click alarm bypass, diamond tip cutter hole in the glass
Strong box safe bust it with a hammer, nifty little trick, learned it in the slammer
Get away clean no shots fired, amped up on bennies everybody’s wired
It’s goin’ down. Down down down down down. It’s goin’ down

Ditch the ride, safe house, divvy up the haul,
layin’ low, shootin’ darts, up against the wall
Inside man wants a cut gotta make a call
Inside man, broken neck, nasty little fall
It’s goin’ down, down down down down

Gang of four, out pops a gun, and then there was one
It’s goin’ down. Down down down down down.
It’s goin’ down. Down down down down down.
It’s goin’ down. Down down down down down.

Every ska band’s got a song about drinking,
    This one is ours
Chugging beers and slamming shots and,
    hanging out in bars
We’ll raise a glass with every verse and,
    you can sing along
When you’re drinking we sound better,
    every single song

    Beer, beer, beer, beer,
    Beer, beer, beer, beer
    Beer, whiskey, beer, whiskey, gin
    Beer, beer, beer, beer,
    Beer, beer, beer, beer
    Let the fun begin
    Beer, beer, beer, beer,
    Beer, beer, beer, beer
Beer, whiskey, beer, whiskey, gin Beer, beer, beer, beer,
    Beer, beer, beer, beer
    Let’s do it all again

We’ll sing about some wild party and some pub crawl
Maybe we had a drink with you,
    we can’t recall
Bottles. cans and fancy glasses and red Solo cups
We don’t have a problem drinking, just sobering up

    [Beer etc.]

Some in the band don’t drink that much,
    some don’t drink at all
So when we have a few too many, we know who to call
When it comes to closing time,
    one more pour
You can find us here tomorrow, passed out on the floor

Every ska band’s got a song about drinking,
    This one is ours
Chugging beers and slamming shots and,
    hanging out in bars
We’ll raise a glass with every verse and, you can sing along
When you’re drinking we sound better,
    every single song

    [Beer etc. 2X]
